Blake Edward Henneberry, 43, entered eternal peace at his home in Nederland, Texas, on May 13, 2025.
Blake was born on November 3, 1981, in Liberal, Kansas, to Don and Tammy Henneberry, and his big sister, Brooke. After he was born the family resided in Woodward, Oklahoma. After their parents divorce Tammy, Brooke, and Blake called Woodward home until 1994, when Blake and Tammy moved Texas. Blake graduated from Port Neches-Groves High School in 2000. He built a life grounded in hard work, passion, and love for his family. As an API-certified inspector, Blake spent many years working in refineries throughout the area.
Above all, Blake was a devoted father. His children—Drake, Phoenix, Kynlee, and Baker—were his greatest source of pride. Watching them grow, succeed, and become their own people brought him endless joy. His world revolved around their happiness and achievements. Blake was also known for his fierce loyalty, bold personality, and top-tier humor. He was an avid Oklahoma Sooners fan and a lover of heavy metal music.
He is survived by his beloved children: sons Drake and Phoenix Henneberry, and daughters Kynlee and Baker Henneberry; his mother and stepfather, Tammy and Mike Land; his sister Brooke and brother-in-law Kirby Lillard and their children of Woodward, Oklahoma; his stepbrother Michael Land Jr. of Bridge City, Texas; and his stepsister Lenita Land of Fort Worth, Texas.
Blake was preceded in death by his father, Don Henneberry; grandmothers Winnie and Barb; uncle Troy; his close friend Josh Burton McElroy; and his partner, Lauren Shea Perry.
