Billy Glen Turner

Billy Glen Turner, 78, of Nederland, Texas passed away on February 25, 2010. He was born in Merryville, Louisiana on October 11, 1931 to the late Rupert and Ruth Simmons Turner. He was a member of First Christian Disciples of Christ Church in Port Arthur and retired from Texaco after 36 years of service.He was the loving husband of Beverly Turner of Nederland devoted father of Sherry Lynn Holder of Phoenix, Arizona and Diana Jean Coston of Kilgore, Texas and cherished grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 6 greatgrandchildren.He was preceded in death by his son William Glen Turner.A gathering of family and friends will be held at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland on Sunday, February 28, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.Funeral services will be Monday, March 1, 2010 at the First Christian Disciples of Christ Church in Port Arthur at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Scott Wallace and Rev. Bill Haulk will be officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
