Billy Joe Fuller, 83, of Nederland, Texas passed away on June 20, 2024. He was born on August 11, 1940 in Port Arthur, Texas to Benjamine and Gladys Fuller. 

      After Billy graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1958, he served his country in the United States Marine Corp., and attended Lamar University. Later, he went to work at Texaco Research and retired in 1998 after 37 years of dedicated service.

      He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Kathleen Fuller of Nederland, Texas.; his son, Kevin Fuller of Nederland, Texas.; two grandchildren, Whitney Beck and Craig Fuller, both of Nederland, Texas.; great-grandchildren, Skylar Leger, Jaice Beck and Izaak Beck; and his brother, Ben Fuller of St. Louis, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamine and Gladys Fuller.

      A gathering of friends and family will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 from 3:00p.m. until 5:00p.m. at Melancon~Levingston Funeral Home in Nederland, located at 1605 Avenue H. in Nederland, Texas.

      A private burial will be held at a later date for the family.
