In Loving Memory of Betty Louise Watts

Betty Louise Watts, 84, of Sabine Pass, Texas, was born on October 3, 1942, in Istachatta, Florida, to Frank and Vera Giddens. She spent most of her adult life in Sabine Pass, where she met the love of her life, Bryan Joseph “Joe” Watts. Together, Betty and Joe built a life and shared 50 years of love, devotion, and cherished memories. Joe passed away earlier this year, and Betty now joins her beloved husband once again.

Betty was a devoted wife, loving mother, and adoring Nana whose family meant everything to her. Her love for her family was at the heart of everything she did, and she took great pride in the lives and accomplishments of those she loved.

Betty was known for her strong work ethic, dedication, and warm presence in her community. She worked hard throughout her life, including delivering newspapers for the Port Arthur News, where her outstanding work earned her recognition and awards. Many people throughout Mid County knew and recognized Betty from her years working at Geneva’s and Channel Inn. She became a familiar and beloved face to so many, leaving a lasting impression on the people she met along the way.

Outside of work, Betty found joy in the simple things that made life beautiful. She had a special love for plants and flowers and was blessed with a green thumb. She took pride in nurturing the things she loved, bringing beauty and life to everything she touched.

Above all, Betty will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her family, and her unwavering work ethic. She gave so much of herself to those she loved, and the memories she created will continue to live on through the generations she leaves behind.

Betty is survived by her children, Michael Tollett, Dan Davis and his partner, Elizabeth Dela Cruz, June Davis Jacoway and her husband, Sean, Amy Watts Pfeffer, and James Michael Watts. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bryan Joseph “Joe” Watts, and her son, Ron Davis, who passed away in 2002.

She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Bryce, Dustin, Meagan Pfeffer, and Savannah and Madison Jacoway, who will forever hold their Nana close in their hearts.

Though Betty will be deeply missed, her love will remain rooted in the hearts of her family, much like the flowers and plants she so lovingly tended. Her legacy is one of hard work, devotion, and a love for family that will never fade.

She was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
