Her kitchen was often filled with the aromas of her cooking, and she loved listening to Jehovah Gospel Music. Bermaida also had a special touch with her plants, nurturing them with the same care she gave her family, and delighted in making homemade candies for her loved ones.
A strong woman, Bermaida overcame significant hardship in Cuba, demonstrating incredible resilience. Her unwavering dedication to her family was evident in her tireless efforts and sacrifices. At the age of 68, she worked hard to bring her family to the United States, ensuring they had a better life. She cared deeply for her grandchildren, always putting their well-being first.
Bermaida will be deeply missed by her loving children, Jesus Sablon, Clara Sablon, Tania Sablon, Rebeca Sablon, Pablo Sablon, and Deborah Sablon. She also leaves behind numerous cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bermaida was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Clara Cuéllar; the father of her children, Luis Sablon; and her eight siblings.
