{# GA4 is fired through the GTM container (gtm.js loaded via the deferred snippet at the top of this file). The standalone gtag.js script that used to live here was redundant and added ~30 KiB of script weight + a second pageview event per visit. dataLayer is initialized eagerly inside the GTM IIFE, so manual gtag() calls still work as data-layer pushes. #}

A Life Remembered

Obituary

Benjiman Allen Lalko

Benjiman Allen Lalko, 40, of Nederland, Texas passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Benjiman was born in Beaumont, Texas to Rosanne and Donald Lalko on June 22, 1981.

Benji's smile illuminated the entire room, his laughter made everyone else start laughing, his singing filled our home with everything from country western to heavy metal songs, his dancing made everyone else want to get up and dance and he gifted us with his exquisite art work. He was proud of his construction work, top player video gaming status, and perfected grilling recipes. He took care of stray, injured animals and gave everything he was able to homeless persons. He unwaveringly persevered to make life more fun, joyful, and happy. He is loved and remembered with a smile innumerable times each day.

Benjiman was preceded in death by his father, Donald Lalko; grandparents, Casimir and Mary Lalko; William and Joan Borowski.

Those left behind to cherish Benjiman’s memory are the mother of his children, Ashley Dupre; daughter, Alexis Lalko; son, Blake Lalko; their brother, Caleb Matthews; grandchildren, Gideon Aldape and Sage Aldape; mother, Rosanne Lalko; and sister, Angela Lalko.

I'm so sorry this happened. Some my best memories were being a step mother to you and Angie! I loved you all dearly! Say hi to Michael up there! He too was too young to leave so soon!
