Carlene LeJeune, a beloved registered nurse and cherished member of the community, passed away on December 29, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas, at the age of 75. Born on July 13, 1950, in Port Arthur, Texas, Carlene dedicated her life to caring for others, practicing as a registered nurse for an impressive 44 years. Her unwavering compassion and dedication shaped the lives of many, and she touched countless hearts throughout her esteemed career.
An active member of the First Baptist Church of Nederland, Carlene was known for her vibrant spirit and devotion to her faith. She took great joy in participating in the Sunday morning choir, as well as being a member of the Silver Tones choir, where her love for music flourished. She enjoyed attending Sunday school each week, and participating in activities with her class throughout the year.
Carlene was proud of her family and took immense delight in attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. She exemplified a giving nature and possessed a big heart, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her interests included traveling, where she created beautiful memories, and her love for football—especially supporting the Longhorns. She had a particular fondness for bluebonnets and loved traveling each spring to view them.
She leaves behind her beloved son, Jason LeJeune and his wife, Stacie, of Hamshire; her daughter, Jennifer Cormier and her husband, Devin, of Cypress; and her grandchildren, Magan LeJeune and her fiancé, Zac Kibodeaux, Austin LeJeune and his wife, Sarah, Sean LeJeune and his wife, Kate, Chaelyn Esquivel, Dylan Cormier and his fiancé, Paige Keller, Derek Cormier, Peyton LeJeune, Easton Esquivel, Juliette Cormier, Bryce LeJeune, and Hayden LeJeune. Carlene also cherished her great-grandchildren, Thomas LeJeune, Penelope LeJeune, Theodore LeJeune, and Tony Blythe.
Carlene now joins her late husband, John "Pat" LeJeune, her parents, Carl and Irene Robison, and her son, Jeremy Scott LeJeune, in eternal rest.
A visitation will be held in her honor on January 3, 2026, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church located at 1911 Nederland Avenue, Nederland, Texas 77627. This will be followed by a funeral service at the same location, starting at 11:00 AM. A graveside service and interment will be held at Memory Gardens in Nederland, Texas.
