Army during the Korean War, and was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Nederland.He was the loving husband of Wilma Richard of Nederland devoted father of Eddy Richard of Groves, and Barbara Richard Hillard of Nederland brother of Emily Bourgeois of New Iberia and cherished grandfather of 4 granddaughters and 3 greatgrandsons.He was preceded in death by his parents 2 sons, Wayne and Terry Richard and daughter, Betty Elledge.A gathering of family and friends will be held at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland Tuesday, February 2, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6:30 p.m.Funeral services will be held at Heritage Funeral Home Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas.
